From conformation to obedience, our members are very dedicated and work very hard training their dogs in a variety of events.  GCSRC congratulates the following dogs for their recent accomplishments!

Another great weekend for Joyce Eaton and her boy Duke at the Lost Dutchman Kennel Club Show in Phoenix, AZ on February 4, 2011 -- Duke took the Breed and a Group 4!  He was expertly handled by Mari Lynn Davisson.  Well done Duke and Mari Lynn!

It was a great weekend for Joyce Eaton at the Kachina Kennel Club Show in Glendale, AZ on April 9 and 10, 2010 -- Joyce's girl Spice took Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite for her first points on April 9, 2010.  Joyce's boy Duke took Winners Dog, Best of Winners and the Breed to finish his Championship on April 10, 2010.  Both dogs were expertly handled by Mari Lynn Davisson.

CONGRATULATIONS
It was a great weekend for GCSRC members out at the UKC show on April 7th & 8th, 2007 -- Shawna and Legend took Best of Breed at both shows on Saturday, Mary and Alvin finished Alvin's UKC Championship at the first show on Sunday by taking Best of Breed AND Best in Multi-Breed Show, and Jen and Ness took Best of Breed AND a Reserve Best in Multi-Breed Show during the second show on April 8, 2007.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Mary and Ali & Alvin for earning Ali & Alvin's Carting Excellent Team Title (CX-T) and second place in both trials on October 25, 2009 at the Carting trial in New Mexico!  There have been only 4 teams to earn this title in ARC history and Ali & Alvin are one of them!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Mary's girl, Ali and her handler/trainer Dawna Sims for completing Ali's ASCA Open Duck herding title this weekend (December 6th & 7th, 2008).  Ali also earned the first leg toward her ASCA Started Cattle title and was awarded a first place for that leg and a High Combined Other Breed award!  Congratulations Ali!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to our members that had a successful weekend at the dog shows in Yuma, AZ  over Thanksgiving weekend.  Congratulations to Mason & Debbie for earning Mason's Rally Novice (RN) title in just three shows -- he even took 1st place two of those times!  Congratulations to Bob & Debbie's Liesl - who took first in her conformation class two days and second one day.  Congratulations to Loralee & Joyce's Tess who completed Tess's Rally Advanced title (with a 2nd & 4th place for two of the legs).  And, congratulations to Loralee for finishing Monk's Companion Dog (CD) title.  It was also great to see so many new dogs try out carting - Mason did a GREAT job as did Laci (a possible new member) and Solo did too -- and even some non-Rottweilers  (a Collie especially and Rory the Pharaoh Hound) got to try it out!

CONGRATULATIONS  to our members that had a successful weekend at the dog shows in Tucson on November 14, 15, & 16th, 2008.  Joyce's pup, Duke was Winner's Dog all three days and took Best of Winners on Sunday for a total of 4 points for the weekend.  Loralee & Curb took Best of Breed on Friday and Saturday and Best of Opposite on Sunday.  Kathy's girl, Tango was Best of Opposite on Friday and Best of Breed on Sunday.  Mary's boy Alvin earned the second leg toward his Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title on Sunday - he was handled by Loralee.  And, Bob & Debbie's boy, Mason completed his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test.  Congratulations also to our members with other breeds that also had a successful weekend!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Loralee for a great weekend at the Old Pueblo Dog Show in Tucson, AZ on November 1st & 2nd, 2008.  Alvin (Mary's boy) received his first leg in Open toward his Companion Dog Excellent (CDX)!  Loralee also qualified with Monk (one of her client dogs) in Novice B with a 2nd place and "High Scoring Working Dog" award on Saturday!  AND, Loralee finished Vegas's (another client dog) Companion Dog (CD) title on Sunday with another 2nd place and "High Scoring Working Dog" award.  Congratulations Loralee!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Mary & Ali  - Ali completed her ASCA Herding Started Ducks title on October 19, 2008.  She also received one leg toward her ASCA Herding Advanced Sheep Title and took third place!!  Congratulations to Ali and Dawna Sims (Ali's trainer and handler). 

CONGRATULATIONS  to Baya & Loralee!!!!! - Baya finished her AKC championship in style on October 6, 2008 in Alamagordo, NM -- owner handled!!!  She was moved up on Monday, October 6th and shown as a Special, where she took Best of Breed (photo below).  Baya also took winner's bitch in Greeley, CO back on September 6, 2008 - which was a 4-point major...her third major!!   Congratulations on a job well done!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Legend & Shawna - Legend took Winner's Dog and Best of Winners at the Greater Shelby Kennel Club Show on October 10, 2008 in Southaven, MS.  With this win, Legend just needs his majors to finish his AKC championship.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Mary & Ali  - Ali completed her Herding Intermediate A Course on Sheep (HIAs) on October 5, 2008 as well as her Herding Started A Course on Ducks (HSAd).  Ali is now eligible for the ARC Versatility Excellent Award!  Congratulations to Ali and Dawna Sims (Ali's trainer and handler).  Ali also was awarded the High Combined score at the herding trial.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Jeri & Kaiser (our honorary Not-weiler) for completing Kai's Junior Herding Dog (JHD) title at the AHBA herding trial in Mountainair, NM on July 4, 2008.  Congratulations also to Mary & Alvin & Ali for completing one leg toward Alvin's & Ali's Junior Herding Dog titles.  Alvin also earned on leg toward his AKC Herding Started Sheep (HSAs) title and Ali earned another leg toward her AKC Herding Intermediate Sheep (HIAs) title.  Great job everyone!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Legend & Shawna another great year at the UKC Premier in Kalamazoo, MI on June 12-15, 2008.  Legend won his champion class on Saturday and Sunday which finished his Grand Championship.  He also won Best of Breed both days and took a Group 4 on Saturday and made the cut (out of a group of 20 GORGEOUS Guardian dogs) on Sunday.  He also qualified in Open B obedience on Saturday and earned the first leg toward his U-CDX and qualified for the UKC Total Dog Award.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Baya & Loralee for winning 2 more points at the Flagstaff Kennel Club show on June 7, 2008!  Baya went Best of Opposite Sex (BOS) over a special to earn two more points toward her AKC championship.  Congratulations to Tess & Loralee for finishing Tess's Companion Dog (CD) title - Tess completed this title in just three shows and won a fourth place in her class to finish the title!

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS  to the GCSRC members whose dogs passed the Therapy Dogs International Test!!!!  GCSRC sponsored a Therapy Dogs International (TDI) and Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test on June 3, 2008 and it was a huge success!!!!  Thank you very much to the following members that donated their time to help with the test:  Sandy Bello, Barb & Rich Budner, Joyce Eaton (and extra big thanks to Joyce for handling all of the paperwork!!), Becca Norris, Jeri Wheaton, Joyce Winter, and Mary Zepeda....and a huge thank you to Myra Judd for arranging the location and performing the evaluations!!!! We had 4 of our club members' dogs test (and all passed!!) as well as another Rottweiler and several other breeds.  The test ran very smoothly and we had all of the dogs tested and paperwork completed in less than 1 1/2 hours!!!  GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!  Congratulations to the following new therapy dog teams that will be out there soon promoting our breed in a positive light:  Gypzi & Sandy, Kate & Barb, Ceasar & Becca, and Alvin & Mary.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Baya & Loralee for a great weekend at the Golden State Rottweiler Club Specialty/Mission Circuit in May 2008.  Baya took 3rd place at the specialty in the Open class as well as a 2nd place in Novice B!  Baya & Loralee also won the major one of the days at the Mission Circuit All Breed Show.  Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS  to the GCSRC members that had a successful weekend at the American Rottweiler Club Nationals in Minnesota in May 2008:  Kathy's girl, Tango took second place in her Open bitch class.  Solo and Sheila made the first cut in Solo's futurity class.  Janna's boy Eddie took second place in his Veteran Sweeps 7-9 yr dog class.  Debbie's girl Ch Wyndhurst Quantum Leap to Evrmor took 4th place the Veteran Sweeps 7-9 yr bitch class.  Congratulations also to all of the members and dogs that were honored for Top Ten rankings for 2007 and/or Versatility awards, and to Joyce Eaton for 25 years as an ARC member.

CONGRATULATIONS  to Sammie & Sheila!!!  According to Dogs In Review, Sammie tied for Top Dam Producer of the Year for 2007 with 5 champions!!!  Congratulations to Sammie, Sheila, and all of the Sammie puppy owners!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Baya & Loralee for taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite for a 3 point major for Baya at the Rio Grande Kennel Club show in Albuquerque, NM on Saturday, May 10, 2008!!  Congratulations also to Kate & Barbara for winning Kate's 12-18 month old class on Saturday!  AND, a big congratulations to Keno & Loralee for finishing Keno's Rally Excellent (RE) title with impressive qualifying scores of 93, 95, and 89 and to Baya & Loralee for finishing Baya's Companion Dog (CD) title!!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Legend & Shawna for taking Winner's Dog and earning 1 point on Sunday (May 4, 2008) at the Rio Hondo Kennel Club show in Pomono, CA. 

CONGRATULATIONS  to Baya & Loralee for taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex which earned her 1 point on Sunday (April 27, 2008) at the Sierra Vista Kennel Club show in Sierra Vista, AZ.  Baya and Loralee also competed in Novice obedience at the same show and qualified for Baya's first leg toward her Companion Dog (CD) title with an impressive score of 191.5 and 1st place in her class!!! 

CONGRATULATIONS  to the GCSRC dogs that had a successful weekend in Casa Grande!  Several of our dogs competed at the Lost Dutchman Kennel Club show on April 11-13th, 2008 and following are the successes!  Keno & Loralee completed Keno's Companion Dog (CD) title!  Jordan & Sheila completed Jordan's Companion Dog (CD) title!  Tess & Loralee qualified in both trials for two legs toward Tess's Companion Dog (CD) title!  Monk & Loralee qualified in one trial for one leg toward Monk's Companion Dog (CD) title!  Legend & Shawna took Winner's Dog and Best of Winner's on Saturday for 2 points and Reserve on Sunday!  Kate & Barbara took Winner's Bitch on Sunday for 2 points and Winner's Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Opposite over a Special for 2 more points on Sunday!!!  Congratulations to all!!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Gypzi, Kalle, and Ali for their performances at the ASCA herding trial on April 5th & 6th, 2008 -- Gypzi received her ASCA Started Sheep (STDs) title, Kalle received one leg toward her ASCA STDs title, and Ali (with her mom, Mary handling her!) received one leg toward her ASCA Started Ducks (STDd) title!  On the same weekend, but in Texas, Trump and Loralee finished Trump's Companion Dog (CD) title -- Congratulations Trump & Loralee!  Also, congratulations to Legend and Shawna -- they competed in Las Vegas and Legend took Winner's Dog/Best of Winners on Sunday for 2 points!

CONGRATULATIONS  to the GCSRC dogs that competed at the Canada Del Oro Kennel Club show in Tucson, AZ on March 22nd & 23rd, 2008!   A big congratulations to Loralee, who had a great weekend with the dogs she trained and showed -- Ali received her Rally Excellent (RE) title with a 2nd place on Saturday and a 3rd place on Sunday and Trump received his first leg toward his Companion Dog (CD) title.  Loralee also took a Best of Breed with her Boxer, Lyric, on Saturday.  Congratulations also to Shawna & Legend for taking Winner's Dog on Saturday for one more point toward Legend's championship.

CONGRATULATIONS  to the GCSRC members  and their dogs that received invitations to the American Rottweiler Club's Top Ten Awards for 2007.  Loralee & Baya (Rally Novice), Sheila, Linda & Jordan (Carting), Sheila, Cassie & Zoe (Carting), Sheila, Joyce & Tess (Carting), Shawna & Legend (Carting), and Sandy & Gypzi (Carting).  Congratulations on a wonderful accomplishment!

CONGRATULATIONS  to Megan and Legend for a GREAT day at the UKC Russell Terrier Foundation Club Show on Sunday, March 9, 2008!!!  (Many of you know Megan as Dawna Sims' (our herding instructor) daughter.)  Megan showed Legend in Junior Showmanship and won her class in one show and Best Junior Handler in the other show!  She then went on to show him in breed for both shows and they won the Guardian Group (with nice competition!) in both shows and BEST IN MULTI-BREED SHOW in the first show under judge Patricia Johnson!!  This was only the second day that Megan has even held Legend's leash!!  Congratulations to both Megan and Legend!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Loralee for her successes at the Fiesa Cluster on February 29th through March 3rd!  Alvin and Loralee finished Alvin's Rally Excellent (RE) on Friday and Trump and Loralee finished Trump's Rally Excellent (RE) on Sunday and Trump and Loralee achieved Trump's first Rally Advanced-Excellent (RAE) leg on Monday.

CONGRATULATIONS to Keno & Loralee for two qualifying scores this weekend toward Keno's Companion Dog (CD) title!  Keno received a score each day of 188.5 which was enough on Saturday to be the High Scoring Rottweiler!  Alvin and Loralee qualified both days in Rally Excellent (RE) with impressive scores of 95 and 92!!  Trump and Loralee qualified both days in Rally Excellent (RE) with a perfect score of 100 on Saturday (and third place!) and another impressive score of 92 on Sunday!  Congratulations to Loralee and all the boys!  (These shows were put on by the Phoenix Field and Obedience Club on February 23rd & 24th, 2008.)

CONGRATULATIONS to Legend & Shawna for a great win at the UKC show on February 16, 2008 put on by the Desert Southwest Shetland Sheepdog Association in Phoenix, AZ - although he was the only Rottweiler entered, Legend took the award for BEST IN  MULTI-BREED SHOW!! 

CONGRATULATIONS to the following GCSRC members and dogs that had a successful weekend at the Arizona Herding Association's Fall Chute Out AKC Herding Trial on February 9th & 10th, 2008 in Mayer, AZ.  Jen & Uffda completed Uffda's Pre-Trial (PT) title and Dawna & Alvin completed Alvin's Pre-Trial (PT) title as well.  Sandy & Gypzi completed Gypzi's Herding Tested (HT) title, and Sandy & Kalle completed Kalle's Herding Tested (HT) title too!   Jen & Ness received their first leg toward Ness's Herding Tested (HT) title. Congrats also to Dawna & Ali for achieve Ali's first leg toward her AKC Started Ducks (HSAd) title with a second place ribbon and Ali's first leg toward her AKC Intermediate Sheep (HIAs) title - which also won her the award for High Combined Rottweiler!  Great job everyone!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Keno & Loralee for finishing Keno's Rally Advanced (RA) title in Hobbs, NM on January 3, 2008 - Keno finished in style with 1st place both Saturday and Sunday!  Congratulations also to Baya and Loralee for Baya's reserve to a major on January 2, 2008.

CONGRATULATIONS to Legend and Shawna for finishing out 2007 at the #1 Rottweiler for UKC.  This is Legend's third consecutive year in the UKC Top Ten, but his first time at number one!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the GCSRC members that trialed their dogs in the Wags For Wishes AHBA Herding Trial on January 19th and 20th, 2008.  A big congratulations to Sheila and Sammie for finishing a JHD (Junior Herding Dog) title on Sammie, and to Shawna and Legend for finishing Legend's JHD title as well!  Congratulations also to Sheila and Jordan for getting Jordan's first leg toward his JHD and to Sheila and Tess for getting Tess's first leg toward her JHD.

CONGRATULATIONS to everyone that competed in the carting test on January 13, 2008 and to those that took the ATTS test on January 12, 2008!  We had a great turn-out for both events and many new titles!!!  Results from both events will be posted soon.

CONGRATULATIONS to the GCSRC members that showed in Palm Springs, CA over the first weekend in January 2008.  Sheila and Trump completed Trump's RA (Rally Advanced) title. Sheila and Tess finished Tess's RN (Rally Novice) title.  Loralee & Keno got Keno's first leg toward his RA (Rally Advanced) title.  Congrats to all that showed!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Cisco and Anita for completing Cisco's Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title at the German Shepherd Specialty on December 8, 2007.  He went out in style with a third place ribbon!  Great job Cisco and Anita!

CONGRATULATIONS to the GCSRC members that showed in Yuma on November 30th through December 3, 2007.  Sheila and Trump completed Trump's RN (Rally Novice) with a second place and also got two legs toward his RA (Rally Advanced).  Loralee and Curb finished Curb's RA (Rally Advanced) with a 4th place ribbon.  Loralee & Keno finished Keno's RN (Rally Novice) with a 4th place, 3rd place, and 2nd place.  Loralee and Baya and Shawna and Legend did well in the conformation rings -  Baya took a 3rd place three days out of the four from a large Am Bred class and Legend took two 3rd places and a 2nd place in an equally large Open class.  Congrats to all!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the GCSRC members that competed in the Tucson shows on November 16-18th, 2007!  Congratulations to Baya and Loralee for two reserves in conformation and for finishing Baya's Rally Novice (RN) in style with a 3rd place and two 1st place wins!  Congratulations to Keno & Loralee for receiving one leg toward Keno's Rally Novice (RN) title!  And, congratulations to Madee & Loralee for finishing Madee's Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) title with two 4th place wins and a 2nd place win!

CONGRATULATIONS to Alvin & Mary, Bika & Jen, and Legend and Shawna for all earning new titles this weekend (October 27th & 28th, 2007) at the AKC herding trial held in Mayer, AZ.  Alvin completed his HT (Herding Tested) title by having qualifying runs both Saturday and Sunday.  Bika & Legend completed their PT (Pre-Trial Tested) titles by qualifying in both of their runs on Saturday and Sunday as well!  We had a great time and heard nothing but positive comments about the Rottweilers at the trial -- positive comments were heard from the judges, the other entrants, and the spectators!!  Great job everyone!!!  (And, a special thanks to Jeri for driving all the way up there on Sunday to cheer us on and take photos of us!!)

CONGRATULATIONS to the GCSRC members for a great weekend at the Kachina Kennel Club show - Tango won Winner's Bitch both days as well as Best of Winners and Best of Breed on Saturday,  and Best of Opposite Sex on Sunday!!  Trump won Best of Opposite Sex on Saturday and Best of Breed on Sunday!!  Legend won Winner's Dog both days and Best of Winners on Sunday!!  Legend also completed his 7th and 8th legs toward his Rally Advanced Excellent title with a 3rd placement in Rally Advanced on Sunday.  Congratulations everyone!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Tango (Oakview's Two To Tango) for her prestigious win at the Medallion Rottweiler Club Specialty - she won Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners from the 12-18 month class.  Congratulations Tango and of course congratulations to Kathy & Tom Chauncey - her mom and dad!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Alvin and Loralee for earning Alvin's CD at the AKC show in Alamagordo, NM on October 5, 2007.  Alvin got his third leg toward his CD title with an impressive score of 184.5 which earned him a second place ribbon as well as "high Rottweiler in trial".  Way to go Alvin and Loralee!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Alvin and Mary for their performance at the ASCA herding trial on September 29th & 30th, 2007!  Alvin got two qualifying scores over the weekend which completed his ASCA STDs title (ASCA herding started).  Ali had a qualifying score in Open Sheep and now has one leg toward her ASCA OTDs title!!

The GCSRC Rottweilers (and Doberman!) had a great weekend at the Prescott Arizona Kennel Club Show on September 15th & 16th, 2007!!!!
Congratulations to Loralee and Alvin for achieving the first two legs toward Alvin's CD title!!  Congratulations to Loralee and Ali for the first leg toward Ali's Rally Excellent title!!  A HUGE congratulations to Jeri and Kai for achieving their first two legs toward Kai's Rally Novice Title!!!!  This was their FIRST AKC SHOW ever and they did an excellent job by earning a 91 on Saturday and a 98 and third place on Sunday!!!!!  Congratulations also to Shawna and Legend for earning their fifth and sixth legs toward Legend's RAE title (and a third place in Rally Advanced both days!).  As for the conformation....congratulations to Loralee and Baya for a Best of Breed on Saturday and a Best Opposite on Sunday....and congratulations to Shawna and Legend for a Best of Breed on Sunday!!!
 

CONGRATULATIONS to Curb for completing his Rally Novice (RN) title in Ventura, CA on July 8, 2007!  He qualified all three days in a row and on Sunday completed his RN title with a 1st place in the class!!!  Great job Curb and Loralee!!!

CONGRATULATIONS to Legend for an impressive weekend in Kalamazoo, Michigan at the UKC Premier June 14-17, 2007.  He won Best of Breed for the Top Ten invitationals, Best of Breed on Friday and Saturday with a Group 4 on Saturday as well, took Reserve Champion on Sunday and received his FO (Family Obedience title) as well as 2 legs toward his U-CD (one leg came with a 4 place ribbon as well!)...he also qualified for the UKC Total Dog Award on Saturday!
